Here, I came across an interesting literal description of this card and found it to be so intriguing that I found it would work great for the visuals of the card. It speaks that the Fool, after encountering the Devil on his journey, stumbles across the very Tower that he helped to build in his youth.

In seeing the tower, he realizes his past and (after learning what he has thus far) is angered at his hand in constructing the tower. He sees here that it was a wayward attempt at boosting his status and ego, and he also acknowledges that the scholarly men who sit in the highest reaches of the tower are presently engaged in the same vain pursuits.

Shocked, the Fool shouts, letting out his anger, and to his surprise a great bolt of lightning shoots out of the stormy sky and blasts the tower, burning it to the ground.

In the story he is shaken and comes to see that the tower represented all the lies about himself that he had built up, just like bricks, and that he now has the courage to tear them down and begin anew on the grounds of absolute truth. To me, this was a wonderful interpretation and indeed hit the nail on the head!

Disaster or destruction

The tower card means disaster or destruction. It is an awful card and it means that very dramatic or traumatic change is going to happen.

Imposed or Facilitate

It is either going to be imposed on you or you are going to have to facilitate it. You have to understand that it is going to be like a house on fire. This card talks about moving on and you should not try to fix the house because you are going to get burnt. It is time to take control, but it does involve a change. The change is very dramatic but makes the change anyway because it is definitely a change for the better.

Waste of Energy

Now if the other cards are very positive it says do not use any of that positive energy trying to fix it, as it is going to be a total waste. It is definitely not to be used on the negative situation that you find yourself in with the tower.
