Artist comments about the Image
In this card most often the visual description contains symbols pertaining to children and sunflowers. But as with the Moon and Star card, I wanted to try and find a way to tie in these commonly associated symbols and still manage to personify the Sun a bit. The sun has almost always been seen as masculine in most mythologies (Apollo), so I've chose to portray it here as male Sun God. To me the card is about your inner child and also the revived soul. It's a return to what is pure, simple, whole and truthful, and there is easiness to this emotional state that here, comes naturally. It's also about being healed and finally, after the long trip through the belly of the dark underworld, you emerge into the light, your light, renewed and finally feeling fresh and GOOD.
Meanings of this card:
Warmth and Growth
This card is very much like the wheel of fortune. It speaks of warmth and growth
and moving from the dark into the light. It also talks about things like new beginnings,
pregnancy, births, marriage.
Big decisions
When you see this card you can be assured that you will have clarity of vision when
making big decisions. You will end up making the right decisions somehow. You may
not be able to explain why you are making a particular decision and it might feels
good from the gut.
Feeling
Go ahead with your gut feeling over here. It does not have to make sense or be logical.
As long as it makes sense from a instinct point of view. It says listen to it, go
with it. This is a very positive card.
