The thing I find fascinating about the cards in general is that they all have positive and negative aspects, which I try to explore when it calls for it. With the Magician, there is the aspect of the beneficial guide or helper, and that of the deceiver, illusionist, or trickster.

I tried to show these interpretations by illustrating the transcending objects he's associated with combined with the subtlety of the Magician's eyes hidden under his hat... this so we cannot look inwardly for the honesty in his actions. I also find it interesting that the Magician is associated with two well known archetypal symbols: the symbol for infinity (sideways 8), and the ouroboros (snake devouring own tail).

These seem to portray the magician's ability to hold timeless mysteries and his talent for transmutation and transformation. He is certainly a master of the elements and also of the four suits of cups, wands, coins, and swords. And depending upon his guidance has the ability to inspire us or aid us in unlocking or hidden capabilities or talents.

As an aside, I also find it intriguing that the symbol for infinity is also the pattern for the dance of the bee, and that the Magician is the next card after our illustration of the Fool (who also has a bee connection). Perhaps the Magician has unlocked the secrets of the bee that seem to have eluded the Fool, who is still searching.

Power

When this card comes up during a reading it usually means that you have the power and energy in the next six months to accomplish anything you set your mind to. It is almost saying that you have the power of a magician to perform miracles. It is almost saying if you try to turn glass of water into wine you might actually get it right.

Pregnancy

This cards also speaks of pregnancy, meaning something like a baby or a new beginning. This beginning is symbolic of something sweet and innocent that is about to happen in your life.

Elements

If you look at the magician card it actually says you have all the elements at your disposal. It also means you have the world in your hands: pentacles which are resources, cups which means relationships, swords which is intellect and wands are talent. So whatever you need to make things happen you have it.

Health

The magician card also talks about health. This could deal with a health specific issue or question or it could be pregnancy. On the other hand as far as woman is concerned it could mean problems in the ovaries.
